What We Collect
When you use Pet Comicz, we collect:
- Pet photos you upload for comic generation.
- Email address and password — used to create your account, track your coin balance, and associate your generated comics.
- Google account info — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We do not access your contacts, files, or other Google data.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic analytics — we use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (page views, device type). No personal information is tracked.
How We Use Your Data
- Your pet photo is analyzed by AI to generate comic strip panels. The photo is not used for any other purpose.
- Your email is used to manage your account, coin balance, and generated comics.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate Pet Comicz:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Stripe — payment processing
- Google (Gemini) — AI comic generation
- Vercel — hosting
Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
Data Retention
- Pet photos are stored for the duration needed to generate your comic and may be deleted afterward.
- Generated comics are stored in a public bucket and retained so you can view and share them.
- Account data (email, coin balance, generation history) is retained while your account is active.
- If you want your data deleted, contact us and we will remove it within 30 days.
Cookies
Pet Comicz uses only essential cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
Children
Pet Comicz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
